WASSU GAMBIA KAFO (WGK) is a non-governmental organization based in The Gambia that aims to promote development and cooperation in sexual and reproductive health and rights, through research and knowledge transfer, especially, to promote gender equality and prevent harmful traditional practices.

WGK has an interdisciplinary team of professionals belonging to the areas of social sciences and health sciences, and is part of the Transnational Observatory for Applied Research on New Strategies for the Prevention of FGM, The base in Spain is the interdisciplinary Group for the Prevention and Study of Harmful Traditional Practice (GIPE-PTP), of the Department of Social and Cultural Anthropology of the UAB.
